💡
This Notion Template is for TTRPG folks who want to expand the way they capture their games/games notes. Or for Game Masters to better organize their world building. It’s not specific to any brand/genre of game, but I’ve been using it for years for my personal D&D games.
To use:
- The image space below is open for an image that might represent your campaign. Personally, I often use a mood board for my campaign and then use a screenshot of it in that space, but anything will work.
- The links on the left are to the different database pages for each category.
- Below is a some quick links to the most recent games, characters and places that might be relevant to an adventure.
- Each of these pages linked from the left, or from the title of a database below will take you to a new page for that category. Within each you’ll be able to customize items within those databases to best suit your own game or notes.
- When you have what you need from this info box, you can delete it or move it to the bottom of the page if you want to keep it around.
- The existing pages are just example pages and can be edited or deleted as you wish.
Game Notes and adding pages:
Within each page, you’ll have the ability to use the “@” symbol to link back to items in other databases. Get a new book? Create the book on the Items page and then use the “@” to search for and link that book. The more you do this, the more the database starts to fill up with other relevant pages.
In the top right of every page, there’s a button to show the details of the page that will show you ALL the backlinks for that page. This is really useful for quickly finding what characters your party met, what loot they found, or what quests they were given.
I hope this helps keep you organized. Enjoy!
